THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for a warm, organized, and client-focused Assistant Spa Manager to join the Chrysalis team. This is a dual-role position: you'll serve as the face of our front desk checking clients in and out, creating a white-glove experience from the moment they walk in while also taking on key administrative and operational responsibilities that keep the spa running smoothly behind the scenes. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Client Experience

• Be the warm, professional first face every client sees at check-in, during their visit, and at checkout
• Deliver a white-glove client experience at every touchpoint no detail is too small
• Stay present and engaged on the floor not behind a screen ready to assist clients and support the team
• Book appointments and manage scheduling with care and accuracy
• Handle client inquiries, follow-ups, and ensure every guest leaves feeling valued

Operations & Inventory

• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate product and supply records
• Place orders for retail products, back bar supplies, and operational needs on time and within budget
• Maintain an organized, beautifully merchandised retail area that invites clients to explore and purchase
• Coordinate with vendors and brand representatives scheduling rep visits and product training

Team & Scheduling

• Manage the team schedule building efficient, fair shifts and processing time-off requests
• Optimize scheduling to maximize service capacity while maintaining quality and team wellbeing

Marketing & Communications

• Manage the spa's AI marketing tool (Claude Marketing) to develop and send client news

• You can hold a retail conversation naturally sharing product knowledge without pressure
• You're proactive: you notice what needs to be done before anyone has to ask

DETAILS

Location: 2615 Southwest Freeway, Suite 240 Upper Kirby District, Houston, TX 77098  Schedule: Full-time | Weekdays with alternating Saturdays | Monthly schedule provided at the start of each month

Compensation: Hourly | Commensurate with experience

Reports To: Spa Owner

Start Date: Immediate
