Content Writer

North Star Network (NSN) is a global sports and betting media group that builds and operates leading digital brands connecting sports fans and bettors across 30+ countries. We're looking for a Content Writer to create engaging, accurate, and SEO-driven content for Bojoko, one of the leading comparison and affiliate platforms in the iGaming space. In this role, you will produce high-quality editorial content that informs users, supports acquisition goals, and strengthens Bojoko's authority across competitive casino and betting markets. Reporting to a Content Manager or Senior Content Manager, you will work closely with editorial and SEO teams to deliver trusted, insightful, and conversion-oriented content aligned with Bojoko's tone, editorial standards, and commercial objectives. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong writing skills, market curiosity, and a solid understanding of SEO and iGaming.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Write original, high-quality articles following provided briefs, editorial guidelines, and brand tone.
• Adapt writing style to different topics, audiences, and market requirements.
• Produce engaging, factual, and reader-focused content while maintaining clarity and accuracy.
• Deliver content consistently and on time while meeting editorial and SEO standards.
• Conduct research on operators, games, regulations, and industry trends to ensure reliable and up-to-date information.
• Bring first-hand insight, strong research, and subject-matter expertise into content production.

2. SEO Integration

• Apply SEO best practices including: Keyword placement, Internal linking, Metadata, Structured formatting
• Follow SEO briefs to optimize content for visibility, rankings, and conversions.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists and Content Managers to update and improve existing content.
• Review and refresh articles when needed to maintain relevance and performance.
• Use feedback and performance insights to continuously improve writing quality and targeting.

3. Collaboration & Feedback

• Work closely with Editors and Content Managers to refine content and integrate feedback.
• Collaborate with other writers to maintain consistency in tone, quality, and editorial standards.
• Participate in content reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Communicate proactively regarding deadlines, blockers, and content opportunities.

4. Compliance & Editorial Quality

• Ensure all content complies with Bojoko's editorial standards and relevant iGaming regulations.
• Maintain accuracy and neutrality when writing about operators, casino products, or betting topics.
• Self-proofread all work before submission to minimize editing requirements.
• Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory updates, and audience expectations.

What We're Looking For?

• Proven experience in content writing, journalism, or digital editorial roles.
• Knowledge of South African iGaming market is a plus.
• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
• Ability to write engaging and trustworthy content with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with editorial briefs and remote workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Experience or strong interest in: iGaming, Online casinos, Sports betting, Affiliate content.
• Experience with CMS platforms and SEO tools is a plus.
• Fluent or native-level English.
