Now hiring an Industrial Spray Painter in Eureka, IL! Trillium Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Spray Painter. Duties will include spraying the surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or a working area with protective material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gelcoat, or lacquer. Responsibilities Clean grease and dirt from product. Apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Fill or smooth cavities and dents to attain a smooth surface. Select coating liquid to produce desired color. Pour coating liquid into spray container and connect gun to air hose. Turn sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Pull the trigger and direct spray onto a work surface to apply primer and finish coat. Coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with a brush. Clean spraying equipment and brushes with solvent and manage the waste from solvent cleaning operations. Remove rust from metal with a wire brush or steel wool. Other duties as assigned. This position is available on 1st shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $20–$24 per hour, based on experience. This position is full-time and temp‑to‑hire. Qualifications HSD or GED. At least 6 months of industrial painting experience. Basic industrial math skills. Ability to pass respirator and fit testing.
