Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a
Medical Services Coordinator at the
Montgomery County Detention Center in North Carolina . This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys coordinating care, values structure, and wants to play a key role in daily clinical operations-without direct staff supervision responsibilities.
Position Details Location: Montgomery County Detention Center, North Carolina
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Medical Services Coordinator
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Sign On & Retention Bonus This is a
working coordinator role , not a desk-only position. You'll be actively involved in patient care while helping ensure the day-to-day clinical flow runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications - Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Previous nursing experience required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily clinical priorities
- Comfortable working in a secure correctional environment
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care while coordinating daily clinical operations
- Ensure smooth workflow and continuity of care throughout the facility
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
- Ensure treatment plans and provider directives are carried out accurately
- Respond to medical concerns, emergencies, and time-sensitive situations
- Maintain compliance with State Scope of Practice, facility policies, and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a liaison between providers, nursing team members, and facility leadership
- Support overall clinical efficiency and organization across the site
