Job Description

Volunteer Opportunity & Certification This is an unpaid volunteer remote position, ideal for individuals passionate about AI and social impact. Volunteers who complete their commitment will receive a certificate of completion, recognizing their contributions to democratizing AI knowledge. About Us TechEquity Ai is a non‑profit organization dedicated to making AI accessible for everyone. We break down barriers to AI knowledge and innovation, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of background—have the opportunity to engage with and leverage AI for positive transformation. Through initiatives like the AI Summit, we are building a global, inclusive ecosystem that fosters collaboration, innovation, and ethical AI development. Role Overview As a Marketing Strategist at TechEquity Ai, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing events that promote our brand, products, and services. This volunteer position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for creating engaging experiences that resonate with target audiences and drive organizational growth. This role is structured for at least 25 hours per week for a minimum of four months, with the option to extend. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role for individuals who excel in dynamic environments. While a volunteer position, it upholds the high standards of Silicon Valley’s tech and nonprofit sector. We seek independent, resourceful problem‑solvers with relevant experience who are ready to apply their knowledge and take on multiple responsibilities to support the team. Success in this role requires adaptability, initiative, independence and a willingness to step in where needed. This opportunity is not structured as a training program; it is an opportunity to engage in high‑impact work, gain real‑world exposure in a results‑driven AI and technology landscape. Key Responsibilities Implement comprehensive event marketing strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and target audience. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication. Promote events through various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and direct outreach, to maximize attendance and engagement. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and sponsors to secure necessary resources and partnerships for successful events. Manage event logistics, such as scheduling, budgeting, and on‑site coordination, to ensure efficient and effective event execution. Oversee the creation of promotional materials and content that effectively communicate event value propositions and drive interest. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop lead generation plans and ensure events contribute to the organization’s revenue goals. Analyze event performance metrics and gather attendee feedback to assess success and identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor events to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3‑5 years of experience in event marketing or a similar role, with a proven track record of successful event planning and execution. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics software. Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities to develop innovative event concepts and overcome challenges. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality experiences for attendees. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self‑motivation and effective time management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by creating impactful events that engage our community and advance our organizational goals. Preferred Skills Working knowledge of using AI tools such as ChatGPT. Passion for advancing equitable and ethical technology solutions. Benefits Join the AI Summit event at the Computer History Museum in Fall 2025. Opportunity to gain valuable experience and build your portfolio. Networking opportunities with professionals from large corporations, emerging startups, VCs, and creative firms in Silicon Valley. How To Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit interest forms, resumes, and your previous work examples, if any. TechEquity Inc. is an equal‑opportunity organization. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees, contractors, volunteers, and interns. Let’s work together to amplify the AI voice. We look forward to hearing from you! If you experience issues submitting your application, please try using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
