We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with strong experience in building and assembling complex machinery and precision components. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering documentation to produce high-quality assemblies that meet strict performance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, position, align, and level machinery and sub-assemblies, integrating components to ensure proper functionality

• Perform precision fitting, aligning, timing, and calibration of mechanical systems

• Read and follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and build schedules

• Interpret engineering prints, mechanical specifications, and electrical schematics to complete assemblies accurately

• Utilize hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drill guns, and crimpers

• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, scales) to verify part tolerances and specifications (Mechanical...ian vFinal | Word)

• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to ensure product meets standards

• Identify defects, document nonconformances, and support corrective actions

• Perform rework and repair based on engineering updates and quality requirements

• Maintain production pace and meet cycle time expectations

• Complete production documentation, including data entry and labor tracking

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions

• Collaborate with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or machine building

• Strong experience assembling complex machinery and mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly documentation

• Working knowledge of electrical schematics related to mechanical assembly

• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly tools and equipment

• Experience with drilling, tapping, and precision assembly techniques

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively

This is a Permanent position based out of Ramsey, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $64500.00/yr.
